Hillside features a convenient carport for drop off and pick up, which is perfect for inclement weather.  If you need assistance, please let us know and we would even be happy to park your car for you.

Please note:  During the school week (Monday - Friday), all doors to our facility are locked.  Access to the facility may be obtained through the carport entrance, where you will be checked in by one of our staff members. Hillside is closed on Saturday, unless otherwise indicated.

Is safety and security a concern at Hillside?

Ensuring safety and security at Hillside is a top priority for us. We are committed to providing a secure, comfortable, and engaging environment conducive to worship and education.

To enhance safety measures, our facility is equipped with secured doors and strategically placed security cameras throughout the campus. For our school management, we utilize brightwheel, enabling us to monitor student drop-offs and pickups, as well as keeping track of individuals within the facility.

Our commitment to accessibility includes ADA compliance with accessible parking, restrooms, and an elevator for the convenience of all visitors. Additionally, we have implemented safety features such as an AED on-site, with staff trained in CPR, first aid, and AED usage. Our recently installed fire alarm system, coupled with regular cleaning and ongoing maintenance, ensures the overall safety of the facility and its systems.

At Hillside, we take the security and safety of our staff, students, worshippers, visitors, and families seriously. It is our ongoing commitment to maintain a secure environment that fosters a sense of well-being for everyone in our community.

Is children's ministry available?

Yes!  Kids Church at Hillside is a place where your kids can have fun, grow, and discover just how much God loves them.  We have Kid's Church available on Sunday Mornings and Wednesday nights.  On Sunday Mornings at 10:30AM, we invite all our children to worship with us together before attending Kid's Church.

And, of course, we have our pre-school, elementary school, and before/after school programs available during the week.

What should you wear?

Dress comfortably when coming to Hillside, as our community embraces a range of styles from formal attire like suits and dresses to more casual options like T-shirts and shorts. Feel free to wear what makes you feel at ease—we consider everyone here as part of our family!

For our elementary school, there is a uniform requirement. If you would like more details about these specific requirements, we are more than happy to provide you with the necessary information.

Can guests participate in religious activities, such as Communion?

At Hillside, we believe in "open" Communion.  That means you get to choose whether to participate.  However, we encourage everyone to examine their own heart before participating.  But unless otherwise indicated, everyone is welcome to participate in any and all services and religious observations.

What To Expect

A typical Sunday morning worship service will last about 90 minutes. Bible studies typically last one hour.  We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. There are activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people or come early on Sunday at 9:00 am for coffee, doughnuts, and conversation.

At Hillside Bethel Ministries, we are simply genuine, everyday people.  We offer no gimmicks and no hype - just Jesus.  And yet, we strive to be active in our worship in every way. Consider our solid, dynamic preaching of the Gospel...our energetic praise and worship...our vibrant youth programs...our quality educational opportunities...our growth, expansion, and change.

That is why today - after 62 years of ministry and progress with an updated campus, additional services, and fresh programs - we can offer new possibilities in worship, greater opportunities for Christian service, and increased potential for spiritual growth. There is something for everyone and a place for you to get engaged at Hillside Bethel Ministries. We warmly invite you to worship Jesus with us!

Attend.  Give.  Serve.
